About Dr Jonathan Bentley
Dr Bentley moved from his birthplace of Melbourne to his now home of Sydney in 1987 at the request of his Sydney born and bred wife Sue who found Melbourne simply too cold and rainy. A General Practitioner in Bondi for over 20 years, Dr Bentley jumped at the opportunity of joining the Bourke Street Clinic team in 2010 and the chance to build on his personal philosophy of combining high quality General Practice with Evidence Based Nutritional Medicine as part of a team of devoted and dedicated practitioners.
Dr Bentley has had many years of involvement with teaching and training of doctors at all levels from medical students at Sydney University to Registrar training to presenting at local doctors’ clinical meetings. He has been involved in General Practice Accreditation and helped practices all over Australia achieve their commitment to maintaining high professional standards. He cares for a wide range of patients from birth through the various stages of life.
He is also a regular contributor to medical publication, ‘New Zealand Doctor’. A clinical senior lecturer at the University of Sydney Royal Prince Alfred Hospital campus, Dr Bentley enjoys teaching 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year medical students.
